Ornate Italian console

A remarkable Venetian console of gilt-wood, grey painted and sculpted in early Rococo designs iincluding small grotesque masks on the scrolled feet and below the central rocaille device joining the voluted stretcher, with a rectangular marble top and shell-centered apron. Circa 1720 Italian. 37 ” tall, 63″ wide, and 20 1/2″ deep.
