In 1998 Phyllis opened Maison Felice/Phyllis Washington Antiques in Palm Desert, CA , the culmination of her love for antiques, travel and interior design. Today, Phyllis Washington Antiques with over 25,000 square feet of beautiful objects and furnishing from 18th century to today, is a destination for many top designers. Her design career has spanned a wide range of projects including important residences, yachts, private trains and aircraft. Through membership in the Institute of Classical Architecture, the French Heritage Society and the Royal Oak Foundation, Phyllis indulges her obsession for “life-long learning” through travel, seminars and lectures to broaden her knowledge.
Besides being a knowledgeable antiquarian and designer, Phyllis is an ardent philanthropist, having founded the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation with her husband in 1988.
